We call you first to set a time. Nobody shows up unannounced.

Fort Myers is where a lot of our calls come from once they've tried the bigger national brands and waited a week. We cross the Cape Coral Bridge or the Midpoint most days, so a pickup on McGregor Boulevard or off Colonial is a short run for us, not a special trip.

Fort Myers homes, and what comes out of them

The city is a mix: older bungalows and ranch houses near the river and in the historic districts, mid-century homes along McGregor, condo towers downtown and in the River District, and large planned communities out east around Gateway and south toward Cypress Lake. Each one produces different work. Older homes have attics and sheds that haven't been emptied in decades. Condos mean elevators, loading docks and association rules. The newer communities mean a lot of moving-day furniture and builder leftovers.

River, bay and storm clean-up

Neighborhoods along the Caloosahatchee and down toward Iona and the bay took serious water in Hurricane Ian. Ground-floor units and garages filled, and the contents had to come out fast. A lot of what we still haul in Fort Myers traces back to that kind of damage: soaked furniture, ruined appliances, drywall cut out to four feet. We take it as one mixed load and keep the curb clear.

Donating in Fort Myers

Usable furniture from Fort Myers jobs often goes to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore on Willis Road in North Fort Myers, a short drive back over the river. Good appliances and building materials go there too. Anything that can't be reused goes to Lee County's facilities on Buckingham Road.

The services are the same on both sides of the river: furniture, appliances, estate cleanouts and debris. Our price guide has the full ranges.

Fort Myers junk removal questions

Do you charge extra to come from Cape Coral?

No. Fort Myers is a bridge away, and pricing is the same as in the Cape. Jobs out past I-75 in Gateway or Buckingham may carry a small travel charge, which you'll hear about on the phone.

Can you work around condo rules?

Yes. Tell us the building's move hours and whether there is a freight elevator. We can bring the paperwork your association asks for, such as a certificate of insurance, once we know what they need.

Do you take things from a rental after move-out?

Yes, including from a lockbox with nobody on site. We send photos of the empty unit when we're done.
